Ista ferkvencija ultrazvuka koristi se tako\u0111er za pospje\u0161ivanje zara\u0161\u0107ivanja lomova kostiju.Uobi\u010dajene soni\u010dne zubne \u010detkice naprave 15.000 do 40.000 pokreta u minuti, to je 125-333Hz, \u0161to je 4.800 puta manje pokreta od ultrazvu\u010dne zubne \u010detkice. Rezultati su pokazali da su se lanci bakterija raspali, kao i onemogu\u0107avanje pri\u010dvr\u0161\u0107ivanja bakterija na povr\u0161inu zbog promjena na stani\u010dnim membranama bakterija. Pri istra\u017eivanju su upotrijebili ultrazvu\u010dnu \u010detkicu za zube Ultima\u2122, bez dodatnih soni\u010dnih pokreta.
